Design Services
We specialize in website design for small businesses and organizations, creating a unique online presence for every client.
A website offers customers or interested parties the convenience of accessing information from anywhere, at any time.
It can make a search for your contact information or business hours simple and efficient, and function as a marketing tool to further enhance your image and reputation.
We have the skills to get your message out to those you are trying to reach, and make your vision a reality!
We've had experience working with a broad range of clients, but we employ the same essential principles for each website:
- attractive design
- user-friendly navigation
- well-organized content
We would love to help you take your business a step further; if you're interested in a website or have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Getting Started
What are website hosting, domain names and nameservers?
A website consists of a set of files stored on a computer (server) to be accessed over the Internet.
A website host rents out space on servers for website owners to store their websites.
A domain name is the "www" address of your website (http://www.example.com is a domain name). It's what Internet users type in the address bar to access a website.
Nameservers attach a domain name to a website's hosting. (Degree Nine's nameservers are ns1.degreenine.com and ns2.degreenine.com)
These are set up when registering for a domain name, and they can be edited later if needed.
I've purchased hosting and it's set up, now what do I do?
If you have a domain name, set its nameservers to
ns1.degreenine.com and
ns2.degreenine.com.
It may take up to 48 hours for these changes to take place.
If you don't have a domain you'll need to purchase one, then set the nameservers.
You will still be able to access your website at
http://74.53.26.66/~username
(replace
username with your username) before you have the domain set up.
To access your control panel (cPanel):
- Type in http://www.domain.com/cpanel (replace domain.com with your domain name).
- Type in your username and password.
To upload your files, you must use an FTP client or your cPanel's File Manager.
For instructions on using both, please visit the
tutorials page.
